Re: Recommendation for Rusty Allen, TechAnywhere.net
It is with great enthusiasm that I share my professional recommendation for Mr. Rusty Allen of TechAnywhere.net. My company, the Education Program for Gifted Youth at Stanford University, develops software for students to use in the classroom. We serve over 80,000 students in the greater Memphis geographical area, and we have been doing business with TechAnywhere.net for several years. Prior to the Fall of 2011, our relationship was limited to basic laptop repair, such as the replacement of displays, hard drives, and keyboards that were damaged by unruly students. We were always well pleased with the results of this maintenance work, which kept our technical assets in operation and in support of the educational needs of area students.
In Fall of 2011, we migrated a federally funded research project from Jackson Madison County Schools to Fayette County Schools in Tennessee. Among many logistical challenges related to the transfer of over 150 laptops from one school district to another, we found ourselves needing to quickly “re-image” all of our machines before they could be re-deployed. We turned to TechAnywhere.net for help. Rusty and his team quickly designed a complex and customized server-based operating system deployment system specifically for our needs. They worked through the night over several days to deliver the reconfigured computers well in advance of our deadline and well under budget. The work was done quickly but with an attention to detail and quality. The reconfigured computers are still in service today, and we have experienced no issues related to the work performed by TechAnywhere.net. We continue to rely on the professional services of TechAnywhere.net to keep our many computers maintained and in service, and it is my pleasure to reiterate my strongest recommendation for Rusty and TechAnywhere.net. Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me directly.
