Scam from http://aonetechsquad.com Phone Numbers 646-915-1375, 646-000-000, 202-202-1234, Total Scammers, Call Say They are Microsoft, or with Windows 7

The call is made to you and they ask to get access to your computer. They claim to be with Microsoft and that your computer has been hacked or has viruses. They charge money for their service and tell you they can remote into your computer and fix it or them. Amazing that people are falling for this.

Once you give them access, they imbed files into your computer that will change the passwords for your machines access. They do this as a ransom incase you refuse to pay them. They all have accents, so I assume they are masking the numbers from another country. Please don’t fall for this scam. If you receive a call similar to this one, please call me immediately at 901-515-8433. I will report the numbers to the proper authorities.

And I can help you. They can’t.

FYI – I received this same call from Aonetsquad.com today from Phone #646-915-1375. I smelled a scam after about 6 minutes on line with them (foreign accents). He did move my cursor around a little, but I cut off the call before it was too late (I think).

No problems on computer noted so far

    Thanks for info.

I receive many calls per day about these guys. I hope this Blog helps in the future. Seems I am making an impact on their scam. Fewer calls are coming to me now. Hope they are finding less people to rip off now.

I always suggest to my clients to tell the people they believe are giving them support to record the conversation, and to let the support technician know he or she is being recorded. You wouldn’t believe how fast the phone hangs up when they are fakes.

If they give you an e-mail account for PayPal let me know, so I can post it as well as the numbers.
